Ezidoesit requires Microsoft Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2003. Ezidoesit does not work with any earlier versions of Microsoft Outlook. You should also be running either Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or Microsoft Vista.
The installation process will require local administrator security rights to your computer to allow the Ezidoesit software to be installed. Your computer needs to be connected to the Internet to install Ezidoesit as it will download the software below if it is not installed on your computer.
We recommend that your computer has a minimum of 512MB of memory but we suggest at least 1GB or more.
Note: we have tested Ezidoesit on a Microsoft Windows XP SP2 Virtual PC image with 256 MB of memory and it installed fine and ran correctly, but like most software the faster the computer and the more memory the more enjoyable the experience will be.
Ezidoesit is a small program (2.2MB) but there is some underlying Microsoft software(free) that is required.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (earlier versions of Ezidoesit installed 3.5).
- Outlook 2007 needs the Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies and Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Office 3.0 runtime.
- Outlook 2003 needs the Microsoft Office 2003 Primary Interop Assemblies and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition runtime.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP2 or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express Edition.
If your computer does not have all or some of the above Microsoft components installed Ezidoesit will download these from Microsoft's website and install them.
Installing the Microsoft .NET Framework takes time, maybe 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast your computer is.
The Ezidoesit trial is approximately 7.5MB for the Outlook 2007 version and approximately 5.5MB for the Outlook 2003 version.
Subsequent updates to Ezidoesit do not require the above Microsoft support files and will take under 30 seconds to install.
