Ezidoesit requires Microsoft Outlook 2010, 2007 or 2003. Ezidoesit does not work with any earlier versions of Microsoft Outlook. You should also be running either Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Vista or Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or above.
(Ezidoesit will also work if you are running Microsoft Windows 2003 Server or Microsoft Windows 2008 Server).
The installation process requires local administrator security rights to your PC to allow the Ezidoesit software to be installed. (If working in an organization where your PC security has been locked down, you will have to get permission from the organizations IT department to install this software).
Your PC needs to be connected to the Internet to install Ezidoesit as the install process will download the software below if any of these components are not already installed on your PC.
We recommend that your computer has a minimum of 512MB of memory but we suggest at least 1GB or more.
Note: we have tested Ezidoesit Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows Vista, Windows XP on a Microsoft Windows XP SP2 Virtual PC image with 256 MB of memory and it installed fine and ran correctly, but like most software, the faster the computer and the more memory the more enjoyable the experience will be.
Ezidoesit is a small program (approximately 2.5MB depending on the version) but there is some underlying Microsoft software (free) that is required.
Microsoft Outlook 2010
The Ezidoesit installation for this version of Outlook will install the following components from Microsoft if they are not already installed on your PC.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime
• Windows Installer 4.5
• SQL Server 2008 Express Edition
Microsoft Outlook 2007
The Ezidoesit installation for this version of Outlook will install the following components from Microsoft if they are not already installed on your PC.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (earlier versions of Ezidoesit installed 3.5).
• Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies & Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Office 3.0 runtime.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP2 or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express Edition.
Microsoft Outlook 2003
The Ezidoesit installation for this version of Outlook will install the following components from Microsoft if they are not already installed on your PC.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (earlier versions of Ezidoesit installed 3.5).
• Microsoft Office 2003 Primary Interop Assemblies & Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition runtime.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP2 or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express Edition.
Installing the Microsoft .NET Framework takes time, maybe 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast your computer is.
Subsequent updates to Ezidoesit do not require the above Microsoft support files and will take under 30 seconds to install.
